Do you sell directly to consumers?
We sure do. You can shop all our products right here on our website.
What does Organika mean?
Our name comes from “organic,” meaning from the Earth. It’s a nod to our roots—literally. We believe in taking from nature responsibly and giving back wherever we can. Think herbs, minerals and earth-grown goodness transformed into supplements that support your health (and our planet). That belief has guided us since day one. And always will.
Are all your products organic?
Some of our products are organic. If it’s certified organic, you’ll see the official stamp right on the label. That said, not every ingredient that’s grown organically goes through the certification process—especially for small-scale farms where it can be expensive. But rest assured: we hold everything to the same high standard.
Are all your products non-GMO?
You bet. For over a decade, we’ve only sourced non-GMO ingredients. Everything we make is IGEN-certified, too. It’s just one of the ways we keep things clean and consistent.
Do you test for heavy metals, pesticides, and other not-so-great stuff?
Absolutely. Organika tests every single product 5-7 times for up to 120 different parameters before it reaches store shelves. We test parameters set by Health Canada including heavy metals, pesticides, micro-contaminants, algal toxins and identity. We test at GLP certified third-party labs to ensure an unbiased review of our products. This also includes performing Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) audits of suppliers, include performing annual supplier evaluation and verifying that our suppliers have the proper manufacturing licenses and certifications, and that all materials or products made for Organika are produced exceeding current GMP conditions.
Where do you source your ingredients?
Wherever they grow best, that's our priority. Over the past 35 years, we’ve built strong relationships with trusted suppliers around the globe—who use sustainable farming methods and production processes.
Why do colours vary between batches?
Nature doesn’t do copy-paste. Colour differences happen with things like harvest season, origin, oxidation or even enzyme activity. Since we are not a pharmaceutical company, Organika does not use artificial colouring to mask these naturally occurring differences to get the same colour product in every batch. The purity, efficacy and quality of each batch is still guaranteed.
Are your products allergen-free?
We choose our ingredients very carefully and do our best to minimize the use of any potentially allergenic substances where possible. However, we do have some products that contain these allergens although we employ a stringent GMP allergen program to ensure any allergens are not cross-contaminated. We recommend that you always check the label to ensure what allergens may be present.
Are your gelatin capsules made from bovine?
Yes. Our gelatin capsules are bovine-sourced, processed using halal practices and made from non-GMO materials.
Do you test on animals?
Never. Organika is proudly cruelty-free. We don’t test any products on animals.
Why is my bottle only half full?
You’re not being shorted, we promise. Our powders are sold by weight (in grams), not volume. Natural settling happens during shipping, but rest assured you’re getting exactly what’s stated on the label. We have quality procedures and GMP-compliant methods to ensure each bottle contains the stated amount of product by weight.
Is your facility nut-free?
Not entirely. While most of our products don’t contain nuts (with the exception of a few snacks), we can’t guarantee they’re 100% free from traces. We follow a strict allergen program to prevent cross-contact, but if you have a severe nut allergy, it’s best to err on the side of caution.
How do I safely dispose of expired supplements?
As part of our commitment to responsible medication [medical sharps] disposal, we are proud to support Medications Return Programs [and/or Sharps Collection Programs] managed by Health Products Stewardship Association (HPSA). These programs provide a safe and convenient way for consumers to dispose of unused or expired household medications (medical sharps) in an environmentally responsible manner. What payment methods do you accept for subscriptions?
Subscriptions require a credit card on file. Organika accepts all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express. Organika gift cards cannot be used for subscription orders.
