Vitamin C is normally tart. How do you make these tablets taste so good in water?

Sugar-free Instant-C Effervescent is flavoured with natural orange flavour. It is sweetened with stevia, a natural herb that is many times sweeter than refined white sugar, with zero calories. It also contains D-mannitol and D-sorbitol, both which are classified as sugar alcohols. They have very low absorption through the intestines and are often used in diabetic sweets, due to its very low impact on blood sugar. All this gives you sweetness without calories.

Why wouldn't I just drink orange juice if I wanted some vitamin C?

A cup of orange juice contains ~125 mg of vitamin C, along with 100 calories. Fresh pressed orange juice is delicious and healthy, but to really increase your vitamin C intake you'd have to drink a whole lot of orange juice! These vitamin C effervescent tablets increase your vitamin C intake without needing to spend all day in the bathroom.

When do I need a bit of extra vitamin C in my diet and supplement routine?

Vitamin C is required to help us get through stressful situations, heal and repair from physical damage, and to combat free radical damage caused by toxic substances like pesticides, refined sugar, and smoking. If I don't make vitamin C, does that mean I need to take supplements every day?

We also have many sources of vitamin C in our diet, depending of course on your food choices. Fresh vegetables and fruit in general have vitamin C, though it is lost with cooking and with time. Fresh healthy fruits such as kiwi, strawberries, papaya and oranges, plus veggies like broccoli, brussels sprouts, cauliflower and spinach are all great sources; some animal foods like oysters, organ meat and dairy also contain a little vitamin C. But the quantities are still quite low compared to those in supplements like Instant-C Effervescent, especially for those times when the body's demands for vitamin C are higher.
