We’ve got the FAQs covered. But if you’re still stuck, we’re only a message away.

Get in Touch

What is the All Day Protein Hydrator, and how is it different from regular protein powders?

One serving (26g) packs 20g of protein. This protein hydrator differs from other regular protein powders as it contains clear whey, collagen, essential electrolytes, pre/probiotics as well.

What is the difference between clear whey and regular whey?

Clear Whey is "clearer" in appearance when mixed with water compared to regular whey which is cloudier and milkier. Clear whey comes from whey protein isolate whereas regular whey comes from whey protein concentrate. Regular whey contains more fat, lactose and carbs in comparison to clear whey. While whey protein concentrate contains 70-80% protein, whey isolate usually has around 90% protein.

How much enhanced collagen is there per serving?

10 g

What role do electrolytes play in this protein hydrator?

The electrolytes are there as an extra factor to help replenish lost electrolytes when exercising.

What are the flavour options available for this product?

Wild Raspberry and Classic Lemonade

How should the All Day Protein Hydrator be prepared for the best taste and results?

One serving per day (26 g) (1 scoop). It is recommended to mix with water since there is already flavour. For the best way, a shaker bottle would help dissolve/mix the powder. Keep in mind this product does foam a bit, which is normal.

Can this product be used as a meal replacement or post-workout recovery drink?

In general, dietary supplements shouldn't be used as a meal replacement, since meals cover a greater range of nutrient intake. As for a post workout recovery drink, absolutely! Since there are electrolytes to help replenish lost minerals from sweating, as well as providing a great amount of protein.

What is the recommended daily serving size, and can it be consumed more than once a day?

1 scoop = 26 g. It can be used more than once a day but use at your own discretion. The recommended amount is only 1 scoop.

Are there any artificial flavours, sweeteners, or preservatives in the product?

No, there are no artificial flavours, sweeteners, or preservatives in the product.

Is this product safe for children, pregnant women, or nursing mothers?

We suggest consulting with your health practitioner.

Does the product contain any allergens that customers should be aware of?

This product is free from: Allergens (egg, yeast, wheat, soy), artificial preservatives, artificial colours, artificial sweeteners, or gluten-containing ingredients.

How should the All Day Protein Hydrator be stored to maintain its quality?

Store at room temperature and protect from heat and moisture.

Why do I need to take it with cold water? Can I take it with hot water?

This is because whey is sensitive to heat. By incorporating heat into this, this will denature the protein which can make it harder to digest and absorb.

Do Electrolytes Help with Hangovers? - Organika Health Products

For those that enjoy alcohol, consuming too much often results in hangover symptoms – so can electrolytes help? The answer is yes. Electrolytes are essential to recovering from hangovers. To understand this concept let’s discuss what happens when you are hungover and what your body is telling you about it's needs. What happens to your body when you're hungover? If you have ever been hungover, you know that it typically occurs when the blood alcohol concentration (BAC) decreases, and the body begins to metabolize and eliminate the alcohol. What is happening is that your body is undergoing a physiological change to combat alcohol in the system. Common symptoms of a hangover include: Headaches, fatigue, nausea or vomiting, sensitivity to light, muscle aches and pains, cognitive difficulties, and feeling severely dehydrated. A bit more on common hangover symptoms... Dehydration: Alcohol is a diuretic, meaning it increases urine production, leading to fluid loss and dehydration. Hence why you get dry mouth, excessive thirst, dizziness, and fatigue. Electrolyte imbalance: Alcohol disrupts the balance of electrolytes in your body, including sodium, potassium, and magnesium. This is why you feel muscle weakness, fatigue, and muscle cramps. Gastrointestinal irritation: Alcohol irritates the lining of the stomach and intestines, leading to nausea, vomiting, and stomach discomfort. Inflammatory response: Alcohol triggers an inflammatory response in the body, which can contribute to headaches, muscle aches, and overall feelings of discomfort. How do electrolytes cure hangovers? Electrolytes can potentially help with some symptoms of a hangover. Drinking alcohol can lead to increased urine production, which can result in fluid and electrolyte loss. Replenishing electrolytes can help restore the body's electrolyte balance and alleviate some symptoms associated with dehydration, such as fatigue, muscle weakness, and headaches. However, it's important to note that electrolytes alone cannot reverse the effects of excessive alcohol consumption or fully relieve all hangover symptoms. It’s important to also rest and consume nutritious foods with protein to recover. Hot tips to avoid hangovers. While you're drinking alcohol, consume a glass of water with electrolytes for every glass of alcohol you drink. Carry convenient on-the-go sachets with you if attending parties or events. Remember to drink a tall glass of electrolytes before going to bed. Try cocktail recipes (made with electrolytes) in place of sugar-filled juices. For example: Wild Berry Electrolytes + Enhanced Collagen Bellini Doing these things can help prevent some hangover symptoms the next day.

Signs You Need More Electrolytes - Organika Health Products

Check the list to ensure you're well hydrated every day. Facts are facts, your body needs electrolytes to be properly hydrated. It’s the balance of fluid inside and outside your cells that defines if you are hydrated enough. This fluid balance is thanks to trace minerals that conduct electrical charges... minerals called electrolytes. What do you need to know about electrolytes? Electrolytes are important for overall health and well-being, and you need them daily. Drinking fluids that contain electrolytes can help replenish lost fluids and prevent dehydration, helping improve many functions in your body including things like: Nerve signalling Muscle contraction Digestion and metabolism Skin health Eliminating wastes And more Some electrolytes, such as potassium and magnesium, play a role in promoting healthy skin. For example, potassium may help regulate blood flow and oxygenation to the skin, while magnesium may help support collagen synthesis and prevent skin aging. How do you know if you are lacking electrolytes? There are several signs that you may not have enough electrolytes in your body, but here are some telltale signs you should look out for: Muscle cramps: since electrolytes help regulate muscle function, an imbalance can cause muscle cramps or spasms. Fatigue: electrolytes are involved in energy production and can help combat fatigue, therefore a lack of them can lead to decreased energy levels. Headaches: electrolyte imbalances can cause headaches or migraines, especially if dehydration is a factor. Nausea and vomiting: sometime an imbalance of electrolytes can lead to digestive issues, including nausea and vomiting; sometimes a side effect of headaches as well. Dizziness: Electrolytes help regulate blood pressure, and an imbalance can lead to lightheadedness. Weakness: Electrolytes are important for muscle strength, and when low in these key minerals, you can feel some weakness or decreased physical performance (ask any athlete). Urine colour is clear: if your urine is completely clear, like water... it means that you probably don't have the balance of minerals your body is striving for. Your urine should be slightly yellow, like champagne or lemonade. Irregular heartbeat: Electrolyte imbalances can affect heart function and cause irregular heartbeats or palpitations... in this case it’s important to seek medical attention immediately. Replenishing your electrolytes by adding them into your water is an easy way to improve your hydration daily. TIP: Add electrolytes to your water and drink it down before you start your day, see the difference it makes! SHOP OUR ELECTROLYTES

Collagen vs. Protein Powder - Organika Health Products

What’s the difference? Which one do I need? The word collagen and protein do go together, but there is sometimes confusion around if they are the same thing. They are indeed different. They both cannot be consumed for the same reason; they serve different purposes. Let’s dive in... Collagen vs. Protein Powder Although collagen is a protein, it is not a complete protein. That means collagen does not have all the nine essential amino acids (the building blocks of protein). Protein powders serve the purpose of being consumed as part of your daily protein intake; therefore, it is a complete protein. Collagen serves a specific function, hence it contains specific amino acids, such as glycine and proline. What does that mean? It means, collagen isn’t consumed for the same purpose as protein powder. It is taken specifically as a function/benefit to replenish the lost collagen in the body. Whereas protein powder counts towards your daily macronutrients. Both are important. Why Use Collagen Powder Collagen is the most abundant protein found in the human body, in fact, there are multiple types of collagen. It is a structural protein that allows your skin to have elasticity, muscles to have buoyancy, joints and connective tissues to have flexibility, hair to have strength. However, as you age the amount of collagen your body produces and has decreases. That is why collagen supplementation is key. You cannot get enough amino acids to make more collagen from the conventional ways of eating protein. This is because collagen resides in ligaments, skin, bones, cartilage, and tendons... which are not consumed regularly. Also, it’s unlikely that you will consume enough glycine, for example, for your body to synthesize new collagen on its own. When to use collagen or protein powder If you are looking to increase your protein intake, build muscle mass, you may want to add protein powders into smoothies or recipes to help you reach your macronutrient goals. However, if you are not in that boat, you may not need to supplement with all the amino acids to rebuild new muscle. If you want to improve your joints, muscle recovery, hair, skin, and nails... then collagen is your best bet. With a protein powder, you get all amino acids to reach protein needs. With collagen, you are supplementing what you've lost so that you can improve and enhance your longevity and feel good from the inside out. And yes... you can use both. Just be sure to manage how much protein you are taking in one day to not exceed your daily maximums.
